BIOGRAPHY:

I have been a fisheries biologist for 25 years. I earned a BS in Fisheries from the University of Washington in Seattle (my home town) and an MS in Biology From Minnesota State University, Mankato. I have worked for two state (Washington Department of Fisheries and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources) and two federal (NMFS and USFWS) agencies. I am presently a senior biologist for the USFWS in Sacramento, where I have worked on Delta water and native fish issues for 7 1/2 years. I have been a member of AFS for 10 years and have served the Parent Society on the Resource Policy Committee and the Publications Awards Committee (current) and have served the California-Nevada Chapter as the Chair of the Policy and Resolutions Committee and as Chapter Secretary (current). I also serve as a member of the Conservation Committee.
