BIOGRAPHY:

Denise holds a Bachelors degree from the University of California-Davis in Environmental Biology and Management. During her undergraduate career, she interned in aquatic ecology laboratories under Drs. Peter Moyle, Andy Sih, and Charles Goldman. Currently she holds a staff research position at the University of California-Davis, where she works alongside Drs. Andy Sih and Louise Conrad, studying biotic and abiotic factors that influence largemouth bass abundance, distribution, feeding, and growth in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Denise has been an active participant in the American Fisheries Society (Davis-Sacramento Student Subunit) since 2008.
